The CoinEx shutdown timeline

  • 15 September 2026: new registrations and referral rewards stopped; futures moved to reduce-only.
  • 22 September: margin, loans, staking, Earn and futures closed, and most deposit addresses were disabled.
  • 29 September: all spot pairs closed; from then on only withdrawals are possible.
  • 22 December, 02:00 UTC: withdrawals close and CoinEx shuts down.

What if I miss the deadline?

According to CoinEx, unclaimed USDT moves to an independent custodian that charges a 5% monthly custody fee on the original balance, reclaimable until 22 August 2028. Every month of delay costs money, and withdrawal queues grow near a deadline, so do not wait for the last week.

Move from CoinEx to Sarraf in 5 steps

  1. Sign up on Sarraf and confirm your email with the code we send. There is also an Android app.
  2. On Sarraf, open Wallet and tap Deposit; choose the asset (for example USDT) and the network, and copy the address.
  3. On CoinEx’s withdrawal page choose exactly the same network, for example TRC20. BEP20 and ERC20 addresses both start with 0x, so check the network twice.
  4. Paste the address, compare its first and last characters with the original, and send a small test amount first.
  5. When it arrives, send the rest. After your first deposit, your first futures trade is risk-free.
